Air Monitoring Module 2

In module 1, we covered the foundational concepts - why we monitor, the hazards we’re looking for, and the critical importance of oxygen levels, flammable gases, and toxic exposures. We also discussed the different types of monitoring equipment.

Now, in module 2, we’re shifting gears. This section focuses on how to apply those concepts in the field — including how your equipment works, how to interpret the data it gives you, and how to avoid the pitfalls that can put responders at risk.

We’ll walk through different sampling strategies, and look at how small changes in readings can mean big consequences.

Let’s build your playbook for smarter, safer, and more effective.
